Generating a Pickup Request

A 'pickup' transaction is used to zero-out a loan balance. It is shared with our trading partner as a 'pickup request' to notify them of the products we will be collecting.
Generate a pickup request

- Ensure we are setup to receive pending transactions. To configure, see pending transaction setup.
- Open Transactions page.
- Click on a 'Loan Sent' transaction to our trading partner.
- Click Add Pickup Row or use keyboard shortcut of Alt + K.
- Click OK. This creates a 'Loan Received' transaction that:
- Totals trading partner loan balance,
- Marks the transaction as incomplete,
- Adds a '->' suffix on receipt number.
- For multi-line transactions, a pickup is generated for each product.
- Click the blue arrow to open the side panel. Open Confirm tool, 'Request Pickup' will be selected.
- The submit method will prefill based on the trading partner's preferred submit method. It should be set to 'Direct to Pending' if they use 2ic Pallets, or 'Send Docket Link via Email' if they do not.
- Continue with below steps.
If submit method is 'Direct to Pending'

- Ensure submit method is 'Direct to Pending* and click Confirm.
- The pickup is automatically submitted to their pending transactions as 'Their Data - Pickup Request'.
- Once they review and submit it, it appears in our pending transactions as 'Their Data - Submitted'.
- Click the Update button. This will open 'Link Compare' tool, select updated fields and click Update. This will:
- Finalise the pickup,
- Mark the transaction as complete,
- Remove '->' suffix on receipt number.
If submit method is 'send docket link via email'

- Select submit method send docket link via email and click Confirm.
- This will open Share Online Docket tool, click Send to email the online docket to the trading partner.
- Once they review and submit it, it appears in our pending transactions as 'Their Data - Submitted'.
- Click the Update button. This will open 'Link Compare' tool, select updated fields and click Update. This will:
- Finalise the pickup,
- Mark the transaction as complete,
- Remove '->' suffix on receipt number.

The online docket includes a docket history for sender contact and driver contact recipients. Click Load more rows to display more dockets.
Process an incoming pickup request

- Open Pending Transactions and filter by pending source 'Their Data - Pickup Request'.
- Click the pick-up button attached to the row.

- Review the pending transaction. Click OK to confirm the pickup details, or edit quantity. This marks the transaction as complete.
- Click Accept button. This will be submitted to our trading partner's pending transactions as 'Their Data - Submitted'.

Processing pickup requests in pending transactions is available to 2ic Pallets users only.
If we do not use 2ic Pallets

- Open the requesting pickup email we received from our trading partner. Click 'Open the online docket' link.
- Review the docket details. Optionally, edit quantity and add a note.
- Click Submit Docket. This will be submitted to our trading partner's pending transactions as 'Their Data - Submitted'.
- If the pickup request should be cancelled, click Cancel Docket.
