A 'pickup' transaction is used to zero-out a loan balance. It is shared with our trading partner as a 'pickup request' to notify them of the products we will be collecting.

Generate a pickup request link arrow_upward

1. Open Transactions page.
2. Click on a 'loan sent' transaction to our trading partner.
3. Click Add Pickup Row or use keyboard shortcut of Alt + K. This creates a 'loan received' transaction that:
   • Totals trading partner loan balance up to today,
   • Marks the transaction as incomplete,
   • Generates a received and confirmed timestamp,
   • Adds a '->' suffix on receipt number.
4. For multi-line transactions, a pickup is generated for each product.

If our trading partner uses 2ic Pallets link arrow_upward

1. The pickup is automatically submitted to their pending transactions as 'their data - pickup request'.
2. Once they process and accept it, it appears in our pending transactions as 'their data - submitted'.
3. Click the Update button to finalise the pickup.

If our trading partner does not use 2ic Pallets link arrow_upward

1. Find the 'loan received' transaction we just created.
2. Open Confirm tool, select request pickup.
3. Select submit method to send docket link via email and click Confirm.
4. This will open Share Online Docket tool, click Send to email the online docket to the trading partner.
5. Once we have picked up the products, find the 'loan received' transaction and click the pick-up button attached to the row.
   
6. Click OK to confirm the pickup details. This:
   • Marks the transaction as complete,
   • Removes '->' suffix from the receipt number,
   • Updates the confirmed timestamp.

The online docket displays the most recent dockets. Click Load more rows to show more dockets.

Process an incoming pickup request link arrow_upward

1. Open Pending Transactions and filter by pending source 'their data - pickup request'.
2. Click the pick-up button attached to the row.
   
3. Click OK to confirm the pickup details. This:
   • Marks the transaction as complete,
   • Removes '->' suffix from the receipt number.
   • Updates the confirmed timestamp,
4. Click the Accept button. This sends our confirmation back to their pending transactions.
