Defining Trading Policies
Defining Trading Policies link arrow_upward
Trading Policies specify our transfer on delay days and receiver reference requirements. When other trading partners are keying 'transfer on' or 'loan received' transactions to us and there is a matching policy, its rules take precedence.
Trading Policies can only be added, edited or deleted by an organisation super user with manage core data permission.
Baseline Policy link arrow_upward
- Expand Reference Data within the navigation menu, open Trading Policies page.
- To create a baseline policy, on a new row, specify:
- Business
- Account
- Name
- Transfer On Date
- Transfer On Delay Days

If we are a receiver declare account, unhide and tick Is Receiver Declare column. Receiver declare means that the sender's transfer docket will be exported by us instead of the sender.
Overrides Policy link arrow_upward
We can define additional policies to override our baseline policy if we have special rules for particular Senders or Products.
- Expand Reference Data within the navigation menu, open Trading Policies page.
- To override our baseline policy for a particular sender, on a new row, specify:
- Business
- Account
- Sender Account Number or Sender Account Name
- Name
- Transfer On Date
- Transfer On Delay Days
- Submit Method

A trading policy takes precedence, i.e. if the matching policy specifies a delay of 28 days and the profile of the matching trading account specifies a delay of 14 days, the trading account profile is ignored and the effective date is set to 28 days later based on the matching policy.
Submit Allowed Days and Submit Cut-off days link arrow_upward
Submit Allowed Days and Submit Cut-off Days allow us to specify our policy of allowing transactions onto us.
